BASICSchool – School of Music and Performing Arts welcomes new students for the 2026/2027 school year! Music and performing arts programmes for different age groups, new courses and creative projects are ready to welcome their participants. Enrolment is open until 30 September 2026.

This autumn, someone will touch the keys of a piano for the very first time. Someone will sing in front of others, put on ballet shoes or discover how much fun it is to make music with friends. At BASICSchool, there is room for all these beginnings, as well as fresh challenges for those who already feel at home in the classroom and on stage.

We enter the new school year with programmes that support children from their first encounters with music through to independent performance, creative work and major collaborative projects.

Our Preschool & Preparatory Division – PPD welcomes our youngest students through four programmes:

  • Music Playroom, ages 0–2 – first encounters with song, rhythm and movement, with a parent present.

  • Music Workshop, ages 3–6 – discovering music through play, singing and shared activities.

  • Ballet School, ages 3–6 – taking those first dance steps and developing a feel for music and movement.

  • PRELUDINO – My First Instrument, ages 6–8 – a new preparatory programme for children ready to start exploring an instrument or solo singing.

PRELUDINO offers two music classes each week: an individual lesson in the chosen instrument or solo singing, and a group Music Mind Lab class, where children discover the basics of solfeggio and music theory. Their first steps in performing and understanding music develop together, preparing them to continue their education in the CMD. Explore our PPD programmes.

For students aged 7–17, EAEU offers a space to explore music, acting, dance and contemporary creative practice. Students choose courses according to their interests, bring different skills together and take part in collaborative productions. Alongside choir, ballet and musical theatre, the new school year will feature work on the original film musical “Perfectly Unreal”, bringing stage experience into the world of filmmaking.

There is also ALTER EGO LAB, for exploring film and multimedia, and SOUNDVERSE LAB, for composition, sound design and music production. These courses give students the opportunity to go beyond performing and discover how to create artistic work of their own. Find details about courses, age groups and projects in the 2026/2027 EAEU course catalogue.

For children and young people aged 9–17 who would like to pursue a structured music education, the CMD offers piano, guitar, violin, cello, flute and solo singing. The programme covers six levels, combining individual instrumental or vocal lessons with solfeggio and music theory. Learn more about the CMD.

New this year is an integrated curriculum that connects instrumental study with solfeggio and theory: the music students play also helps them develop their listening, music reading and understanding. Parents and students can explore the 2026/2027 CMD curriculum in advance. For those who wish to study two instruments or combine an instrument with singing, CMD Dual packages are also available.

To make choosing easier, we have prepared a Quick Parent Guide, which helps you find a suitable programme and explore packages, tuition fees and available discounts. Discounts are available for families enrolling more than one child, as well as for combining programmes. Keep track of important dates, holidays and planned school activities in our school calendar.

Enrolment is open until 30 September 2026. The first step is to complete the relevant application form:
