Our students successfully participated in piano and cello masterclasses

At BASICSchool, we pay special attention to the development of our students beyond regular classes as well, through additional educational programs, seminars, masterclasses, and encounters with distinguished artists and pedagogues.
Our young pianists, students of the Piano Department, successfully completed a masterclass held on March 26, under the mentorship of teacher Marija Mastilo. During the masterclass, they had the opportunity to further develop their technique, interpretation, and stage expression through work with MA Maja Đogo, Associate Professor and Head of the Piano Department at the Music Academy of the University of East Sarajevo.
We are especially proud that our students also performed at the concert of the best masterclass participants, where they presented their work, talent, and dedication to music.
Certificates of participation in the piano masterclass were awarded to:
Petra Vrebac, Ismar Muharemagić, Alem Dedić, Arian Hota, Bella Kramer, Zana Methadžević, and Nejra Inal.
Valuable experience was also gained by students of the Cello Department, Marija Vrebac and Nedžla Hadžić, who participated in the 28th Seminar for Music and Ballet Pedagogues of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, held from January 26 to 30 in Sarajevo. The seminar was led by Prof. Dr. Belma Alić, and the students had the opportunity to further develop their skills, musicality, and understanding of the instrument through professional work.
We extend special thanks to their teachers, Marija Mastilo and Eva Čalija, whose dedication, support, and pedagogical work significantly contribute to the artistic development of our students.
Moments like these show how important additional education, encounters with experts, and public performances are for the development of young musicians. We are proud of the experiences our students have gained, and we continue to support them at every step of their musical journey.
