Students of the BASICSchool Solo Singing Department achieved outstanding success at the international online competition “The Song” in London, performing in the categories of pop singing and musicals.
All five students won first prize, once again confirming their talent, dedicated work, and the quality of vocal education they are developing through their classes at BASICSchool.
The competition brought together young performers from different backgrounds, and our students presented themselves with carefully prepared performances, showing confidence, musicality, stage expression, and emotional maturity.
First prizes were awarded to:
Tara Ristić — first prize in the Pop Singing IV category.
She performed the song “Voyage voyage”.
Bella Kramer — first prize in the Pop Singing III category.
She performed the song “Jamais sans toi”.
Blanka Bojić — first prize in the Pop Singing IV category.
She performed the song “Desert Rose”.
Majra Maljević — first prize in the Musicals IV category.
She performed the song “Never Enough” from the musical/film The Greatest Showman.
Zola Ristić — first prize in the Pop Singing III category.
She performed the song “Running Up That Hill”.
The students prepared their performances in the class of teacher Marina Milošev, whose continuous pedagogical work, dedication, and support significantly contribute to their vocal and stage development.
We are proud of this result, as well as of the effort, discipline, and love for music that our students show from performance to performance. Their success at the international competition “The Song” represents another important step in their artistic development and confirms that hard work, talent, and strong mentorship are recognized beyond the borders of our country.
