At the Cultural Center Istočno Novo Sarajevo, on April 3 at 7:00 PM, the BASICSchool spring concert titled “Two Faces of Spring” was held, presenting the richness of our students’ talent, dedication, and artistic development through two program segments.
The first part of the evening, “Springtime Sounds”, was dedicated to students of the instrumental departments. Young pianists, violinists, and cellists performed on stage, presenting a carefully prepared program filled with the sounds of piano, violin, and cello. Their performances demonstrated dedication, progress, and readiness for the upcoming competition season, for which they are preparing diligently.
The second part of the concert, “Voices of Spring”, belonged to the students of the Solo Singing Department, who brought a special face of spring through powerful, emotional, and stage-confident vocal interpretations. Their performances once again showed how important continuity, work, and pedagogical support are in the development of young performers.
We extend special thanks to Prof. Marija Mastilo for piano accompaniment and her work with the students of the Piano Department, teacher Nina Vasić for her work with the students of the Violin Department, teacher Eva Čalija for her work with the students of the Cello Department, as well as teacher Marina Milošev, under whose mentorship the vocal performances of the students of the Solo Singing Department were prepared.
We also thank the Cultural Center Istočno Novo Sarajevo and director Nina Papaz Pandurević for their wonderful cooperation and support in the realization of this concert event.
We are proud of all the students who performed and of the energy they brought to the stage. The concert “Two Faces of Spring” was an opportunity for the audience to experience the beauty of spring, the joy of making music, and the power of children’s artistic creativity through two different, yet connected musical expressions.
